Parkville Music School was established in 1978 at the faculty of University High School. It has educated hundreds of children during this time with a variety of music programmes. In 1997 Lesley Cronin assumed the position of Director and has since built on the outstanding reputation of the school with her broad approach to music education, introducing Suzuki teaching and new music programmes for young children, as well as adopting a flexible, friendly and stimulating learning environment.
At Parkville Music School we make every child feel special. Our aim is to provide an enjoyable and nurturing learning environment where your child’s musical skills are developed to their utmost. We are family oriented in our approach and actively encourage parental and sibling involvement.
At Parkville, we recognise that no one child is the same and will do our best to navigate the most rewarding musical pathway for your child.
Our Director, Lesley Cronin is always happy to discuss the many options available to you and your child so that when you embark on your musical journey with us, you will be sure to start on the right note.
